Beth Huntley joined our staff in 2011 serving as the Children's Discipleship Coordinator. Beth brings with her a history of education and service. She graduated from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1995 with a degree in English and Secondary Education. Currently Beth teaches Senior English at Notre Dame Academy here in Green Bay. As a lifelong Methodist, Beth has served congregations from San Raphael, CA, to Minneapolis, MN to Detroit, MI and finally here at First UMC in Green Bay. Her most recent role was as the Lay Leader for Hospitality where she worked hard to welcome new members to our church. In the summer of 2011, Beth travelled to our sister church in Pilviskiai, Lithuania as a part of the mission team. Leading a vacation Bible school for the children in Pilviskiai ignited a passion for children's ministry in her.
Beth has been married to Scott since 1985. Through the many moves and adventures together they have and are raising four children -- Jacob 22, Alex 14, Noah 12 and Anna 10. When not serving in our church, Beth can be found out on the trail with her family hiking, camping, and enjoying nature.
