Joyful Noises In Our Church
Join our in-house musicians and staff to learn about hymns, history and instruments. Each week will learn the music for the coming week’s worship as well as about a new instrument or the origins of the hymns. Jeff will show us how the organ works, Denise will teach us about the bells and David will share hymnal layout and history. Members of our congregation will teach us how to play the mountain dulcimer, demonstrate the accordion and lead us in songs using a variety of string instruments! Wednesdays will be joyful! Watch for the announcements for each week’s location and leader.

Fall 2017 will start on October 11 with the new study, Revival by Adam Hamilton. “Wesley’s message and his faith continue to speak to 21st century Christians—calling for a revival of our hearts and souls so that our world might be changed. Join Adam Hamilton for a six-week journey as he travels to England, following the life of John Wesley and exploring his defining characteristics of a Wesleyan Christian. Wesley’s story is our story. It defines our faith and it challenges us to rediscover our spiritual passion.” Old, new and current members are welcome to join us for this journey to reinvigorate our spirit!
As much as women desire to become mothers, sometimes the challenges and circumstances are not what they ever expected. Being a mom is wonderful, but it’s also hard. Moms wonder: Am I enough? How can I love today when my child is deliberately disobeying me? How did I get in this mess, and why can’t I get it together? Motherhood is a beautiful mess. Along the way, women often feel like they’ve lost themselves and wonder what God is doing in their lives or if they are getting anything right. This study helps each mom discover (or remember) that she is the mom God chose for her children, and she is a beautiful mom. Join us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays at 6:15pm in Wesley Hall.
